Cranberry Ginger Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
3 Tbsps of candied ginger; minced
15 ounces of whole cranberry-sauce
2 Tbsps of honey
1/2 c of wine (white)
1 Tablespoon of vinegar cider
1/2 c of apple-flavored juice
1 stick of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of whole peppercorns (black)
1 bayleaf
1 garlic clove; minced
1 Tablespoon of grated ginger
1 seeded chile-pepper (small); minced
Instructions:
Combine vinegar, juice, spices, garlic, ginger & chile in saucepan then simmer w/ cover over low-heat for approx 5 mins. Have mixture strained into medium-sized saucepan then add honey, whine, ginger & cranberry-sauce.
Allow mixture to cook for 5-7 mins over low-heat ’til blended well & smooth. Cool then serve.
